She was 85, born in Olney on Feb. 13, 1916 and died Feb. 7, 2002 at Suburban Medical Center in Paramount after contracting pneumonia which led to congestive heart failure.
She was the youngest daughter of seven children born to Dora and Adam Pfaum.
She was an active member of the AARP Seniors Club of Downey, the Paramount Seniors, and was a member of the Downey Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons; a brother; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations in her memory to the Downey Civic Light Opera, in care of Marsha Moode, 7903 Second St., Downey, CA
She was 70, born in Los Angeles, and was employed at the First Christian Nursery School of Bellflower.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Monica (Reggie) Edgerton, Roberta Vidal, Ava (Larry) Miller, Kathleen (Tony Wade) Vidal, Annette (Dan) Sodergren; grandchildren Victor, Brendan, Seton and Sean Edgerton, Brandy Wade, Alexandria, Zack and Jason Miller.
Monsignor Lawrence O'Leary officiated.
Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles.
Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary.
She was a resident of Bell and South Gate. She had earlier come to California in 1929 and, with her parents Richard and Ida Hendricks, joined her sister Louise and her two brothers, Richard and Laird. She married Leo Williams in 1933.
Later she was a secretary for Garrett Supply Co. until her retirement in 1977.
After losing her husband to cancer in 1971, she and friends traveled to many countries around the world.
She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Walker (Jack), son Roger (Julie), 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, sister Louise and brother Laird, and 3 nephews.
She was 89, born in Panguich, Utah, and died at her Pico Rivera home Feb. 12.
She was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a retired member of the Los Angeles Credit Union.
Survivors include her son, Orvin Eugene (Gene) Morris; a brother, Stanley McCallister; sisters Eleanor Kerr, Elizabeth Crawford and Mamie Hjorth; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and their families.
Burial followed at Park Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Commerce.
Bishop Tow officiated.
Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary.
She was 76, born in Inglewood to parents James and Ethel Ridley, and died Feb. 18, 2002.
She was a dedicated Christian, who loved to read, crochet, and enjoyed learning about her genealogy. She loved to correspond and write to many family members and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; her daughter, Virginia; a sister, Virginia May; and two grandchildren, Melissa and James.
Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
